Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) was established in the year 1975. The TNDGE TN Tamil Nadu Board is one of the largest and oldest school board of India. The TN Tamil Nadu Board conducts the High school 10th Std, Matriculation, 10th Std, Secondary, SSLC, SSC, 10th, Higher Secondary, +2, Senior Secondary Annual/public examination twice a year and other supplementary examinations. The Directorate of Government Examinations TN Tamil Nadu TNDGE also prescribes curriculum, syllabi and textbooks for all schools under the control of it.
