Board of Secondary Education Assam was established in the year 1961. The SEBA Assam
Board is one of the largest and oldest school board of India. The Assam Board conducts
the High school 10th, Secondary annual
examination twice a year and other supplementary examinations. The Board of
Secondary Education Assam also prescribes curriculum, syllabi and textbooks for
all schools under the control of it. The Assam Board also issues certificates
