UNIT III SOLUTION OF TIME INDEPENDENT SCHRÖDINGER EQUATION 9
Particle in a three dimensional box, linear harmonic oscillator and its solution, density of
states, free electron theory of metals. The angular meomentum problem. The spin half
problem and properties of Pauli spin matrices.
