OBJECTIVE

situation. It gives a framework of knowledge that allows engineers and technicians to

Introduction - Performance Terminology – Potentiometers - LVDT - Capacitance
sensors - Strain gauges - Eddy current sensor - Hall effect sensor - Temperature
sensors - Light sensors - Selection of sensors - Signal processing.
UNIT III ACTUATORS 12
Actuators – Mechanical - Electrical - Fluid Power - Piezoelectric - Magnetostrictive
