OBJECTIVE
This syllabus is formed to create knowledge in Mechatronic systems and impart the source of
concepts and techniques, which have recently been applied in practical situation. It gives a
framework of knowledge that allows engineers and technicians to develop an interdisciplinary
understanding and integrated approach to engineering.

UNIT III MOTION CONTROL AND MEASUREMENT SYSTEM 12
Control system- Open Loop and Feedback Control-Measurement system-Drives and actuators-
Control devices- Servo systems- Motion converters.
UNIT IV PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLERS 8
Introduction- Basic structure- Input and output processing- Programming- Mnemonics- Timers,
